The new CAT format of the CISSP exam reduces the time needed to take the exam from 6 hours to 3 hours.
It also reduces the number of questions you’ll have to take from a guaranteed 250 questions to a variable number of questions (100-150).
When you’ve either passed or failed enough questions that the remainder of the test won’t make a difference, the test ends automatically.
The new format is required for those taking the exam in North America. Everyone else will still take the legacy format of the exam for the time being.
I’ve created a new practice exam emulating the CAT format.
Members, you will see a new link on your dashboard. The existing link for the legacy format is still there for international members.
